What should I do?

I have been given a godly-ish item from a friend of mine. And he has told my to trade it for a Stone Of Jordon. I'm really bad at the D2 economy. And I don't know how I would make money off of it. Can anyone tell me what I should trade for it, and get wealthy?|||Yeah sure, depending on what the item is, you could trade it for anything from an el rune to an entire godly smiter setup. Hope that helps!|||Uh...What's the item?|||Quote:

Here:

||| sorry to say, that's not going to get you anything near an SOJ. Worth 10 pgems at most sorry -___-|||What should you do?

You should hang out here a lot more often, and while doing so, observe all the trades and sales going on about around you. It should give you an idea of how the economy is doing nowadays, since this tight community stresses legitimate playing (outside is pretty hectic, poof-able items all over the place). And if you have any questions regarding the prices of items, ask the seller for a price or price-range, or go to the trade value and request a price check on the item you are wondering about. Learn. =]

But yeah, if you're poor, just start small and grow. Sell that for something small, then find deals all over the place.

oh btw, that item you have right there isn't going to grant you extreme wealth. Unless that item happen to be something really GODLY enough, like a 10fcr/20str/40life/90 mana ring, you probably won't have any luck gaining extreme wealth in one trade. Like I said before, you have to grow with what you have. Kind of like farming.|||=) What he said. Well put.|||Would MF runs help? Like if I rushed someone for forge, and do a mf run while im at it.

How did you guys start?|||build a mf blizzard sorc (basic mf gear is cheap) and do endless mephisto runs

pit runs (outside outer cloister) are pretty nice too|||I collect every flawless I find and start from there...also if you aren't very rich, I'd avoid trading for HRs unless they are self-found....I can't afford poofing so I usually ask for self-found ones
